Hello! I’m Céline Nordberg, a Danish artist from the vibrant heart of Copenhagen, Denmark. My primary medium is watercolor and oil, but I also explore the realms of ceramics in my creative pursuits. My journey into art began in childhood, with a keen interest in capturing motives with precise detail. Over time, my focus shifted towards blending my early dedication to accuracy with a passion for figurative art. My work, characterized by its figurative elegance and minimalist approach, seeks to challenge conventional perceptions with its unique use of color and form. I find joy in painting subjects recognizable to the eye, yet presented with colors and shapes that challenge conventional perspectives. My themes revolve around femininity, vulnerability, and fragility. The delicate pastel hues, the nuanced postures of the figures, and the overall nude and minimalistic aesthetic in my work aim to convey the strength inherent in vulnerability and fragility.
