Carol Heft is an accomplished artist, educator, and curator based in New York City. With a career spanning several decades, she combines a deep passion for artistic exploration with an unwavering commitment to inclusive and interdisciplinary education. Her work, which encompasses painting, drawing, and mixed media, reflects a lifelong fascination with the interplay of form, texture, and narrative. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (B.F.A. in Painting) and recipient of the Florence Leif Award for Outstanding Senior Painter, Carol has exhibited extensively in solo and group shows both nationally and internationally. Highlights include exhibitions at Blue Mountain Gallery in New York, Palacky University in the Czech Republic as a Fulbright Specialist, and curated projects in Italy. Her work is held in prominent public and private collections across the U.S. and Europe. Carol's teaching experience is equally distinguished, having served as a lecturer and adjunct professor at institutions like Muhlenberg College, St. Joseph’s University, and Northampton Community College. Her workshops and classes are informed by her belief in the transformative power of art to connect diverse cultures and ideas. Driven by an ever-curious approach to visual storytelling, Carol continues to create thought-provoking art while mentoring the next generation of artists.
