Dmitry Yuzefovich is a contemporary artist living and working in Canada. During his career, which spans more than two and a half decades, he gained fame through exhibitions in famous galleries and museums. All of Dmitry's works are a reflection of memories. He often imagines the environment in which he lived in the past, or tries to capture memories of living in it. Dmitry creates visualizations of spaces and objects in which they come together, forming a puzzle of personal and universal memories. In his oil paintings, a language is created based on the connection between fragments of memories and the possibility of their embodiment in the present. All his works are devoted to the representation of memory. In realistic oil paintings, he captures spaces that seem abandoned, his works represent an analogy with the elusive materiality of memory itself. Thus, Dmitry creates a language based on the relationship between memory fragments and the possibility of embodying them in the present. Dmitry Yuzefovich was born in 1974 in Kiev, Ukraine. He graduated from Taras Shevchenko State Art School, Kyiv, Ukraine . Yuzefovich studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, Israel, received a Bachelor of Arts degree, and in 2005 - a Master of Fine Arts degree. Yuzefovich participated in personal and group exhibitions. His paintings are collected in Canada, the USA, Australia, Israel, England and Europe.
